Dantxari

Dantxari is a Basque restaurant that offers traditional cuisine and it is worth eating there. You can taste typical dishes of the Basque cuisine, like: anchovies in Bilbao style, potatoes with cod, clams in a green sauce, cardoon in Navarra style or cod in pil pil sauce (garlic and pepper sauce). You can also sample dishes from Madrid such as snails in Madrid's style or chickpeas with trips. It's always full and it's difficult to find a table, so you better make a reservation.

Lhardy

It is considered a temple of Madrid's cuisine. This restaurant has been open since the 19th century. You can sample the best of Madrid's dishes: soap, croquette, sandwiches and cheese or chorizo puff pastry.

Hong

This restaurant has nothing to do with any Chinese restaurant in Madrid. Its menu is full of traditional Asiatic dishes: pasta, vegetables, meat and fish.

Ambos mundos

This young and friendly restaurant just opened. It marvels with its simple dishes: salad of tuna tataki with tomato foam, paella with sea flavour or African gazelle sirloin steak, decorated with black volcano salt.
